Communication of the idea is similar to describing the picture in words.
How can it be effective?
We need to breakdown the picture in blocks of knowledge which can be understood by reader or audience. This is the challenge of describing multidimensional view of idea by single dimensional sequence of words. Indeed, amazingly difficult!
That is called art of Literature.
